MKTO

When the multiplatinum duo of Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller get together, they blur the lines between pop and R&B with timeless charisma, effusive confidence, and an enviable level of swagger. Returning from a two-year hiatus in 2018, the duo flip the script once again. MKTO certainly gave audiences a worthwhile reason to wait. After becoming best friends on the set of Gigantic, the pair initially took pop by storm in 2014. Their breakout single “Classic” cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, earned a double-platinum plaque from the RIAA, and transformed into a worldwide sensation with platinum and gold certifications in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom, and Denmark. Meanwhile, MKTO’s self-titled full-length debut yielded other favorites such as “Thank You,” “God Only Knows,” and “American Dream.”
Following this whirlwind, 2016 saw them commence a much-needed break. Heading home, Tony spent quality time back in Houston with his family as Malcolm joined the cast of the critically acclaimed Detroit from Academy® Award-winning director Kathryn Bigelow. In early 2018, the guys hit the studio again with longtime collaborators Emanuel “Eman” Kiriakou [Selena Gomez, Ne-Yo] and Evan “Kidd” Bogart [Beyonce, Rihanna], who co-wrote and produced all of the previous MKTO releases and will once again be at the helm of the new project being released through their label Crooked Paintings, distributed through BMG. Jungle

Jungle is a British electronic music project established in 2013 by the talented producers, Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, located in London. The dynamic duo has contributed significantly to the music scene with the release of four studio albums. Their debut, self-titled album ‘Jungle’ was a groundbreaking introduction, followed by ‘For Ever’ in 2018 under the XL Recordings label. Demonstrating their artistic independence, ‘Loving in Stereo’ was independently released in 2021 on their very own imprint, Caiola Records. The anticipation for their fourth studio album, ‘Volcano,’ culminated in its prestigious release date on 11 August 2023, also under Caiola Records, showcasing their evolving creative journey. Noteworthy is the fact that their debut album was a finalist for the distinguished Mercury Prize in the same year.

Kim Tae-hyung, professionally known as V (뷔), was born on December 30, 1995, in South Korea. He is a prominent singer, songwriter, and a member of the widely acclaimed boy band BTS. V made his debut with BTS in 2013 and has since captivated audiences with his mesmerizing performances, including three solo songs that soared on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart—”Stigma” in 2016, “Singularity” in 2018, and “Inner Child” in 2020.
Beyond his musical endeavors with BTS, V ventured into acting with his debut in the renowned 2016 TV series, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. His versatility shone as he also contributed the soulful single “It’s Definitely You” to the series’ soundtrack. In 2019, V showcased his songwriting skills by releasing his first independent track, the heartfelt “Scenery.” Paving his path as a solo artist, V officially debuted in 2023 with the singles “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days.” To further enchant his fans, V dropped his debut solo album, Layover, on September 8, accompanied by the soul-stirring single, “Slow Dancing.”

EXO

Exo, stylized in all caps as 엑소, is a renowned South Korean-Chinese boy band headquartered in Seoul. The group was established by SM Entertainment in 2011 and officially debuted in 2012, captivating audiences with their exceptional music and performances in Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese. Comprising a talented lineup of nine members – Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun, Exo’s versatility and charisma have set them apart in the music industry.
Initially starting with twelve members divided into Exo-K and Exo-M, the group faced changes as Kris, Luhan, and Tao left amid legal disputes with SM Entertainment. Despite the challenges, Exo continued to flourish, consolidating into a single group to deliver diverse music across languages. Standout achievements include the success of their albums, such as XOXO and Don’t Mess Up My Tempo, breaking records and earning global acclaim. NCT DREAM

NCT DREAM, a popular sub-group within the NCT brand, debuted in August 2016 with the bright, bubbly single ‘Chewing Gum’. Since then, NCT DREAM has released a wide variety of songs including ‘My First and Last’, ‘We Young’, ‘GO’, and ‘We Go Up’, presenting music and performances only teens can express, full of a wide range of emotions and images, from fresh and bubbly charms to a more powerful spirit. Not only did they peak on various music charts and shows, NCT DREAM also received the ‘Top Promising Group’ Award from ‘The 5th V Chart Awards’ hosted by YinYueTai, one of the biggest music awards in China. The group was also named Billboard’s “21 Under 21: Music’s Next Generation” for three consecutive years from 2018 to 2020, and was the only Asian artist on TIME Magazine’s “25 Most Influential Teens of 2018”, once again cementing their status as an influential young group around the world.
In May 2021, NCT DREAM achieved their first ‘million seller’ status with their 1st LP ‘Hot Sauce’, selling 1 million copies within a week of its release and ascended to ‘double million seller’ status, surpassing 2 million total album sales in just 16 days, gaining ‘Platinum Album’ status from QQ Music. Further, as a testament to their ongoing global popularity, the group achieved ‘triple million seller’ status with cumulative sales of their 1st LP ‘Hot Sauce’ and its repackage ‘Hello Future’, once again proving their overwhelming power as a top international act.

TWICE

Twice is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment, composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group was established under the television program Sixteen in 2015 and made their debut on October 20, 2015, with the EP ‘The Story Begins’. Known as ‘The Nation’s Girl Group’, Twice gained popularity in 2016 with their hit single ‘Cheer Up’, achieving top rankings on various music charts and earning accolades like ‘Song of the Year’ at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards.
