A Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a dynamic alt-pop sound that incorporates elements of folktronica and infectious dance-pop, Olivia Lunny soared to the top of the charts in 2019 with her breakout single "I Got You." She released her eponymous debut long-player in 2021, which included the hit "Sad to See You Happy." A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lunny picked up the guitar at the age of 12 and began writing songs just one year later. Citing Norah Jones and Coldplay as early influences, Lunny independently released her eponymous debut EP in 2018 and found mainstream success the following year after issuing "I Got You" and taking home the top prize on the second season of the music talent competition The Launch. In 2020, she released the EP To the Ones I Loved, which included the hits "Think of Me" and the heartfelt acoustic ballad "Bedsheets." After inking a deal with Universal Music Canada, she issued the single "Sad to See You Happy," which appeared on her 2021 self-titled full-length debut. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
