Bob Mould, the renowned alternative rock musician, recently announced an exciting series of solo electric tour dates across North America. This much-anticipated tour is set to commence in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 9, 2025, and will culminate in St. Paul, Minnesota, on October 11, 2025. Mould is embarking on this tour to promote his latest album, Here We Go Crazy, his 15th solo album that has garnered critical acclaim. Known for his influential role in bands like Hüsker Dü and Sugar, Mould continues to leave a significant imprint on the music scene, drawing inspiration from his storied career to shape this latest venture.

Mould's decision to embark on a solo tour comes in the wake of a successful North American tour with his band, where they delivered powerful performances centered on music written since 2012. The upcoming solo tour will feature special guests across select dates, including J. Robbins, The Baseball Project, Loose Cattle, and David Barbe. Each performance promises a more intimate setting, with Mould aiming to connect deeply with his audience through a quieter yet equally intense performance style. This shift allows him to explore deeper cuts from his extensive career songbook, bringing fresh perspectives to his longstanding fans and new audiences alike.

Here We Go Crazy, released in March of 2025, marks Mould's return to studio recordings after four years. Featuring a blend of his signature melodic style and raw lyrical content, the album has been well-received, praised for its energy and authenticity. Prior to its release, Mould engaged audiences with in-store performances and signings in major cities such as London, Bristol, and Berlin, all of which sold out swiftly. Moreover, Mould captivated television audiences with a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he played “When Your Heart Is Broken,” a standout track from the album.

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Mould will deliver the keynote address at Macalester College's 2025 commencement ceremony, where he will also receive an honorary degree. Reflecting on his journey, Mould credits his formative years at Macalester as pivotal, having initiated his musical career by forming Hüsker Dü during his time there. Though he left college to pursue music full-time, his return as a keynote speaker and honorary degree recipient underscores the full circle of his impactful career.

The upcoming tour promises to be a nostalgic journey through the best of Mould's musical repertoire. The tour dates cover a wide array of locations across the United States, ensuring fans from various regions can partake in the experience. The summer tour starts at the Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival in Las Vegas on May 25, 2025, and includes notable stops in New York, California, and Missouri among others.

Mould's influence on the music industry is well-documented, with his work credited for shaping the sound of iconic bands such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Green Day. His solo tour offers a chance for fans to experience the authentic and electrifying energy that has defined his decades-long career. As anticipation builds, Mould's fall tour represents not only a celebration of his enduring legacy but also a renewed exploration into the creative potential of his music.
