Creed and Nickelback are officially set to headline the much-anticipated 2025 Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival, igniting nostalgia among fans of late '90s and early 2000s rock. The event promises to resurrect the sounds that defined a generation with a lineup of iconic bands. Scheduled for July 18 and 19 at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin, the festival will feature two nights of performances that pivot around the two headlining acts. This venue holds a special significance as it is both a historical site for past influential performances by both Creed and Nickelback, adding a layer of sentimentality to the event. Famed for their dominion over the post-grunge rock scene, Creed and Nickelback join forces, creating a much-anticipated collaboration that hasn't been seen since the two bands originally shared a stage.

The festival's lineup on Friday night is spearheaded by Nickelback, who will be accompanied by Live, Daughtry, Tonic, Our Lady Peace, and Lit. This night is expected to be a walk down memory lane for attendees, reveling in the chart-topping hits and anthem-like anthems that these bands are known for. Following the same nostalgic theme, Saturday night will see Creed take center stage to conclude the festival with a powerful performance. Joining them on Saturday will be 3 Doors Down, Sevendust, Mammoth WVH, Hinder, Vertical Horizon, and Fuel, layers of sound that continue to resonate with fans of the rock genre.

Tickets for the two-day festival go on sale beginning with artist-specific presales starting Wednesday, February 19. These presales are usually accompanied by access codes provided by artists through their official channels, intended exclusively for die-hard fans. General ticket sales commence on Friday, February 21, available via Ticketmaster. Alongside general admission options, festival-goers can also opt for various add-ons such as VIP access and preferred parking.

This event is one chapter in Creed's broader Summer of ’99 Tour, which spans from early July to late August 2025. With stops across North America, inclusive of performances with other noted acts such as 3 Doors Down, and Mammoth WVH, the tour promises a vibrant revival of hits from Creed's extensive discography. The choice to integrate Nickelback as co-headliners for this specific festival amplifies the draw, ensuring that audiences are treated to an unforgettable experience of high-energy sets and unforgettable performances from both bands.

Notably, this marks a significant resurgence for Creed, who recently reestablished themselves in the music world with a successful reunion tour punctuated by sold-out shows and popular cruise events. This period of renewed vigor for Creed has seen their music re-emerge on charts, fueled by nostalgic interests and new streaming platforms that introduce these legacy sounds to new audiences.
