The Eagles have announced four additional concert dates at Sphere in Las Vegas, set for January 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2027. The newly added shows extend a residency that began in September 2024 into a third calendar year, arriving months after Don Henley suggested the band’s touring days could be winding down.

  • New dates: January 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2027
  • The additions bring the Eagles’ total Sphere shows to 72, making it Sphere’s longest-running residency
  • General on-sale for the new dates begins August 14, 2026 at 10am (local time/EDT) via Ticketmaster
  • Advance artist presale opened August 12, 2026 at 7am EDT, with further presales starting August 13, 2026 at 10am EDT
  • 2026 marks the Eagles’ 55th anniversary

Don Henley Once Hinted the Eagles Were Nearing the End

Earlier in 2026, Don Henley told CBS Sunday Morning that the band’s run could be approaching its final chapter. “I think this will probably be it,” he said, adding, “I feel like we’re getting toward the end, and that will be fine, too.”

Henley also described feeling at peace with the idea of stepping away from touring. “I’m okay with [the end]. Because I would like to spend more time with my family, and I would like to spend more time growing vegetables,” he said, noting that decades of touring had left him seeing more of airports, hotels and venues than the actual places the band visited: “I’ve travelled all over the world, but I haven’t seen much of it, because we see the airports and the hotel room and the venue and we don’t get out much, you know?”

Why the Eagles Keep Extending Their Sphere Run

Despite Henley’s comments, the band’s Sphere schedule has continued to grow throughout 2026. Additional dates announced in May 2026 had already stretched the residency through November, and further shows pushed the run into December before the newly revealed January 2027 dates were added.

A press release announcing the latest additions attributed the expansion to “overwhelming demand” from fans, rather than framing it as a retirement send-off.
