Hans Zimmer, the acclaimed composer known for his iconic film scores, is set to embark on a major North American tour in 2025, called “The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension.” This 24-city arena tour will feature a full orchestra performing freshly arranged versions of some of Zimmer's most beloved film compositions, accompanied by synchronized clips from the movies for which he composed these scores. Despite not performing live on stage, Hans Zimmer will still play a pivotal role in the production as the show's curator, producer, and musical director. Instead, the performances will be orchestrated by Zimmer's frequent collaborator, the multiple Grammy®-nominated conductor Matt Dunkley, who will lead the ensemble each night.

The tour kicks off on September 5, 2025, in Sunrise, Florida, and will navigate through major cities across the United States and Canada, including stops in Tampa, Houston, Raleigh, Newark, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto, St. Louis, Chicago, Denver, San Diego, and Portland, among others. The journey concludes on October 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Tickets for the tour will become available to the general public on May 2, 2025, with a special TikTok pre-sale for fans beginning sooner, allowing them to gain early access by following Zimmer's profile.

This tour is part of a larger series of successful shows that have already mesmerized audiences in Europe, where “The World of Hans Zimmer” has been met with widespread acclaim. Zimmer's repertoire is vast and diverse, having scored over 500 projects that have collectively grossed billions at the global box office. His compositions have not only earned him two Academy Awards® and numerous other accolades but have also garnered a massive fanbase that spans generations and continents.

In presenting “The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension,” Zimmer offers both longtime fans and newcomers the opportunity to delve deeper into his musical universe. The performance will include selections from his award-winning scores of films like “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Inception,” “The Dark Knight” trilogy, “Gladiator,” and “Blade Runner 2049,” among others. Zimmer's compositions for upcoming films, such as Brad Pitt's “F1,” which centers on Formula One racing, further demonstrate his continuous evolution as a composer and storyteller.

This North American tour exemplifies Zimmer's commitment to bringing the cinematic experience to live audiences, providing a unique chance to witness the power of his music performed live by world-class musicians. Matt Dunkley, who has been integral to Zimmer’s projects, will lead the orchestra through this immersive auditory and visual experience, promising concertgoers an electrifying and emotional journey.

With his music serving as the backbone of some of the most memorable moments in cinematic history, Hans Zimmer has proven time and again his ability to translate emotion and narrative into unforgettable sound. His decision to step behind the scenes and let Dunkley and other talented musicians take the spotlight is testament to Zimmer's focus on the overall concert experience.
