Rush Adds Houston, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh to 2026 Fifty Something Tour
Rush has expanded its 2026 Fifty Something reunion tour with four newly added US arena shows. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are set to play four extra stops: Toyota Center in Houston on October 1, Enterprise Center in St. Louis on October 21, Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on October 23, and PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on November 15.

What Did Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson Say About the New Dates?
Lee and Lifeson explained the decision to tack on more stops in a joint statement. “When we initially booked this tour we didn’t know how well we would hold up to the rigors of the road, so we played it safe with lots of days off to recover, but life is nothing if not surprising and we’re doing fine and having a blast, so why not try to hit a few more of the cities that have always treated us so well?” they said.
Who Is Playing Drums and Keys on Rush’s Fifty Something Tour?
Lee handles bass, keyboards and vocals while Lifeson plays guitar, with German drummer Anika Nilles filling the drum chair once occupied by Neil Peart, who died in 2020. Keyboardist Loren Gold, who has toured with The Who and Chicago, rounds out the touring band.
Nilles previously toured with guitarist Jeff Beck in 2022. Lee has said she spent roughly a year learning about 43 Rush songs to get ready for the tour.
How Did the Rush Reunion Come Together?
The Fifty Something tour kicked off June 7, 2026 in Los Angeles, marking Rush’s first tour in more than a decade and its first shows since Peart’s passing in 2020. The North American leg is set to run through Vancouver, British Columbia on December 17, 2026, after which the band plans to head to South America starting in January 2027 before playing the UK and Europe through April 2027.
The push to get back on stage traces back to a difficult stretch for Lifeson, who underwent treatment at a clinic in Austria for stomach issues after a surgery there did not go as planned. Lee stayed by his side, and the two began rehearsing Rush songs together during Lifeson’s recovery, an experience that helped set the reunion in motion.
Is Rush Reissuing Any Old Albums?
Alongside the tour, Rush has started a reissue campaign through Mobile Fidelity covering 11 albums from the 1970s and 1980s, opening with 1975’s “Fly by Night” and 1977’s “A Farewell to Kings.” Mobile Fidelity owner Jim Davis has indicated additional Rush reissues are planned for 2027.
Lifeson also told Rolling Stone that he gave up smoking cannabis earlier in 2026 at age 72, crediting the change with sharpening his memory and helping him feel clearer.
