3 Doors Down

Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal, signed the musicians and released their major-label debut, The Better Life, in early 2000. The Better Life quickly became one of the top-selling albums of the year, achieving quadruple platinum status within its first year and producing multiple hit singles. Following their initial success, the band continued to soar with the release of Away from the Sun in 2002, which debuted impressively at number eight on the Billboard Top 200 chart and also reached multi-platinum certification. The next few years were marked by extensive touring in support of their music, during which they also released the live EP Another 700 Miles in November 2003 to bridge the gap between albums. Their heavier offering, Seventeen Days, hit shelves in early 2005, claiming the number one spot on the Billboard 200 and achieving platinum status in its debut week. Subsequent albums, including a self-titled release in May 2008, maintained their chart-topping streak and commercial success.
Continuing their journey, 3 Doors Down embarked on a lengthy tour in 2009 and capped off the year with a digital-only acoustic holiday album. The following year marked the beginning of work on their next album, spearheaded by producer Howard Benson. The band split their time between Los Angeles and Tokyo to record the album, resulting in the 2011 release of Time of My Life. This album showcased the band’s evolution and musical growth, blending their signature sound with new creative directions and experiences gained from their global recording locations. In essence, 3 Doors Down’s discography reflects a remarkable progression in their artistry and a commitment to delivering powerful, chart-topping music that resonates with audiences worldwide.
