Alok, born Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo, hails from a musical lineage as the son of renowned psytrance DJs DJ Ekanta and DJ Swarup in Brazil. Initially producing psytrance alongside his twin brother Bhaskar under the alias Logica, Alok transitioned to a solo career in house music in 2012. By 2014, with a series of successful Brazilian Bass events, Alok was recognized as Brazil’s top house DJ and made his debut in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list.
