Rapper Big Boss Vette, formerly known as Yvette, hails from St. Louis and is recognized for his bold lyricism layered over energetic beats. Rising to fame through social media, he gained popularity as an independent artist with viral hits like ‘Bad Bitch’ in 2019 and ‘Outside’ in 2020. Transitioning to a label, Vette continued to deliver uninhibited tracks such as ‘Snatched’ and ‘Pretty Girls Walk’ in 2022.

Diamond Smith, who kickstarted her rap career during high school, experienced unexpected fame after her rendition of DeJ Loaf’s ‘Try Me’ went viral overnight. This newfound success motivated her to create more content, leading to subsequent viral releases like ‘Bad Bitch’ in 2019 and ‘Outside’ in 2020. Combining forces with Amigo Records and Beatstaz under a licensing deal with Republic Records, Smith rebranded as Big Boss Vette.
