Being part of the Ruff Ryders group, she established herself as a strong and no-nonsense street MC, achieving success with her debut album ‘Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady’ in 1999. Her sophomore album ‘Scorpion’ in 2001, featuring hit singles ‘Who’s That Girl’ and ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind’ with Gwen Stefani, propelled her to international fame, winning a Grammy in 2002. Despite label issues, she released ‘Lip Lock’ in 2013.
Born Eve Jihan Jeffers in Philadelphia on November 10, 1978, Eve initially started as a singer before transitioning to rap. Her debut album made history by topping the charts, followed by successful albums like ‘Scorpion’ and ‘Eve-Olution.’ Eve also ventured into acting and television, making a comeback with ‘Lip Lock’ in 2013 and subsequent projects.
Eve’s career expanded into movies and TV shows, alongside a successful music journey with hits like ‘Gangsta Lovin” featuring Alicia Keys.
