South Korean quintet ITZY is a dynamic force in the K-pop scene, infusing their music with vibrant electronic dance beats and empowering lyrics. Their journey began in the late 2010s with the release of their Top Three EP ‘It’z Icy’ in July 2019, followed by ‘It’z Me’ in March 2020. Continuing their success, they unveiled more Top Five EPs like ‘Not Shy’ in 2020 and ‘Guess Who’ in 2021. By late 2021, ITZY achieved a significant milestone with the release of their first chart-topping full-length album, ‘Crazy in Love,’ followed by the successful Top Ten EP ‘Checkmate’ in the U.S. The group’s momentum remained strong as they continued to produce music, delivering impactful EPs such as ‘Kill My Doubt’ in 2023, which soared to the top of Korean charts. In 2024, ITZY once again triumphed with ‘Born to Be’ and the mesmerizing Gold EP.
As part of JYP Entertainment’s girl group lineup, ITZY comprises talented members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. Prior to forming ITZY, each member showcased their skills on various TV survival shows until JYP brought them together in 2019. Their debut single, ‘Dalla Dalla’ and ‘Want It?,’ marked the beginning of their musical journey, leading to the successful release of their debut EP ‘It’z Icy.’ The EP not only claimed a Top Three spot in Korea but also made waves on international charts.
