La Porte, Texas native Jake Worthington has country music embedded in his DNA, thanks to his upbringing listening to legends like Ray Price, Merle Haggard, and George Jones on his grandfather’s porch. Inspired by these icons, Worthington learned to play the Gibson acoustic and discovered the vast potential of his unique voice. Today, he brings a fresh sound to venues across Texas and Tennessee with the release of his debut album, ‘Jake Worthington,’ featuring 13 original songs. Known for his honky-tonk style, Worthington has entertained audiences at dance halls, beer joints, and ballrooms, sharing the stage with top artists like Cody Johnson, Riley Green, and Hank Williams Jr.
As his popularity grows, Worthington is becoming a recognized name in Nashville, collaborating on projects like Hixtape: Vol. 2, where he teamed up with Ronnie Dunn and Jake Owen on the lively track ‘Jonesin’.’ He also contributed to Ronnie Dunn’s album ‘100 Proof Neon’ and ERNEST’s ‘FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM): Two Dozen Roses.’ Embracing his deep love for country music, Worthington believes in preserving the genre’s authenticity and traditional roots.
