Kouss is an American producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ. He honed his musical talents while growing up in South Florida, actively participating in various rock bands, orchestras, and jazz ensembles as a drummer. Kouss is known for infusing live instruments like drums, bass, guitar, and piano into his electronic-focused music productions. Following his graduation, Kouss ventured into the music industry with his rock band, Stellar Revival, which secured a record deal with Capitol Records. This opportunity led him to embark on global tours, fostering his passion for the nomadic lifestyle of a musician.
In 2020, a car accident unfortunately prevented Kouss from pursuing his drumming career, prompting him to explore electronic music production in Nashville and Los Angeles. Despite this setback, Kouss found solace and inspiration through his musical endeavors. His debut single, ‘Can’t Go Back,’ created post-accident, features Anna Kline and encapsulates a youthful electronic pop vibe. The track gained widespread recognition and airplay on popular radio stations, including FM, XM, and iHeart Radio. With an upcoming EP scheduled for 2024 and a promising live performance reputation, Kouss is poised to embark on a thrilling musical odyssey.
