NMIXX

NMIXX is a South Korean girl group formed by SQU4D, a sub-label of JYP Entertainment. The group consists of members LILY, HAEWON, SULLYOON, BAE, JIWOO, and KYUJIN. NMIXX made their debut in February 2022 with the single AD MARE, featuring the title track “O.O”. The name NMIXX is a combination of the letter “N”, representing “now”, “new”, “next”, and the unknown “n”, along with the word “mix” symbolizing combination and diversity, signifying “the best combination for a new era”.
NMIXX’s debut single AD MARE introduces a new genre called MIXX POP, showcasing the confidence and ambition of a new group poised to make their mark. It merges two or more music genres into a unique song, reflecting NMIXX’s innovative approach. The track “O.O” is a reimagining of baile funk, immersing listeners in the realm of MIXX POP. The music video for “O.O” amassed over 20 million views within the first 24 hours of its release, making a remarkable impact. AD MARE achieved significant success, selling over 220K copies in its debut week, marking the highest album sales debut for a girl group in the history of K-pop.
