Olivia Lunny

A Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Olivia Lunny has captivated audiences with her dynamic alt-pop sound that blends elements of folktronica and infectious dance-pop. In 2019, she rose to prominence with her breakout single ‘I Got You,’ propelling her to the top of the charts. Olivia released her self-titled debut album in 2021, featuring the popular track ‘Sad to See You Happy.’ Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Olivia discovered her musical passion at a young age, starting to play the guitar at 12 and writing songs at just 13. Influenced by icons like Norah Jones and Coldplay, Olivia independently launched her first EP in 2018, leading to mainstream recognition in the following year after the success of ‘I Got You’ and winning the top award on the second season of The Launch music competition. Following her signing with Universal Music Canada, Olivia released her 2020 EP ‘To the Ones I Loved,’ which included standout songs like ‘Think of Me’ and the emotionally touching ‘Bedsheets.’ Her 2021 album, under the same name, showcased the single ‘Sad to See You Happy,’ marking another milestone in her musical journey. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
