TWICE

Twice is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment, composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group was established under the television program Sixteen in 2015 and made their debut on October 20, 2015, with the EP ‘The Story Begins’. Known as ‘The Nation’s Girl Group’, Twice gained popularity in 2016 with their hit single ‘Cheer Up’, achieving top rankings on various music charts and earning accolades like ‘Song of the Year’ at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards.
Twice’s success continued with the release of ‘TT’ from their third EP ‘Twicecoaster: Lane 1’, dominating the charts for four weeks and becoming the best-selling Korean girl group album of 2016. Within just 19 months after debut, Twice had already sold over 1.2 million units of their EPs and special album, garnering immense fanbase and recognition. Their journey extended to Japan in 2017, marking their debut with the compilation album ‘#Twice’ and achieving significant milestones like earning a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), another first for a Korean girl group.
