Growing up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the pop singer fell in love with the Motown greats that his mother played throughout his house and the Gospel music he sang in church. Raised by a single mom, his youth was shaped by insecurity and a strong desire to please those around him. It wasn’t until he moved to Nashville that he discovered his true identity and self-worth, both personally and professionally. Wyn Starks released his debut album ‘Black Is Golden’ in 2021 and after a performance of the powerful ballad ‘Who I Am’ on America’s Got Talent in 2022, the song began to climb the charts on radio stations across the United States. Wyn completed his first headline tour at the end of 2022 with several sold-out shows.
