Young Money is a rap group closely associated with Lil Wayne and the Cash Money record label. The group made their official debut in 2009 following numerous mixtape appearances. Led by Lil Wayne and featuring a dynamic roster, Young Money includes Drake, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine, Nicki Minaj, Lil Chuckee, Lil’ Twist, and more. Their first single, ‘Every Girl,’ and debut album, ‘We Are Young Money,’ were released in 2009 under Cash Money in collaboration with Universal Music. A subsequent announcement in late 2012 hinted at a second album, but in 2013, Cash Money unveiled ‘Tapout’ by a similar group, Rich Gang. Members Lil Wayne, Mack Maine, and Nicki Minaj from Young Money were part of the ‘Tapout’ single, along with Birdman and Future.
