Quantavious Tavario Thomas, professionally known as Young Nudy, is a talented American rapper, singer, and songwriter born on December 17, 1992. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Young Nudy has made a mark in the music industry through his notable collaborations with his cousin, the renowned rapper 21 Savage, and the acclaimed record producer Pi’erre Bourne. His musical journey took a significant turn when he signed with RCA Records to unleash his debut studio album ‘Anyways’ in 2020, followed by the releases of ‘Dr. Ev4l’ (2021), ‘Rich Shooter’ (2021), ‘EA Monster’ (2022), and ‘Gumbo’ (2023). Among these, ‘Gumbo’ gave rise to the hit single ‘Peaches and Eggplants’ featuring 21 Savage, which soared to the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 charts, further affirming Young Nudy’s rising success.
Young Nudy initially garnered attention for his distinguished Slimeball mixtape series, a prelude to securing contracts with RCA Records and Same Plate Entertainment that led to the unveiling of ‘Slimeball 3’ in 2018. The collaborative effort with Pi’erre Bourne titled ‘Sli’merre’ in 2019 marked a breakthrough in his career, peaking impressively at number 63 on the esteemed Billboard 200 chart. During this period, Young Nudy’s unreleased track ‘Pissy Pamper’ with Pi’erre Bourne featuring Playboi Carti unexpectedly turned into a viral sensation, evolving into an Internet meme following its unauthorized release in the same year. Additionally, his guest appearance on Dreamville Records’ hit single ‘Down Bad’ in 2019 marked his debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 64, further solidifying his position in the realm of contemporary music.
