Brian Johnson Replaces Bon Scott | This Week in Music History

It takes a legend to fill the shoes of a legend. This week in music history, Brian Johnson was announced as the official replacement for Bon Scott. After Bon Scott's untimely death at the age of 33, Brian Johnson was hired as AC/DC's lead singer just six weeks later. The band then went on to record their record breaking album, Back in Black with Johnson writing the first lyrics, “She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean.”
