Lorna Shore, a symphonic deathcore band renowned in the metal music scene, has announced the release of their highly anticipated fifth studio album, “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me.” Scheduled to drop on September 12, 2025, the album continues the momentum garnered from their 2022 breakout album, “Pain Remains.” This new collection will be released via Century Media Records and is expected to further solidify Lorna Shore's place as a key player in the extreme metal genre. The album announcement is accompanied by the release of its lead single, “Oblivion,” a song that frontman Will Ramos describes as a culmination of past efforts refined to the next level, offering a poignant reflection on the consequences of human actions in a speculative post-apocalyptic future.

The lead single, “Oblivion,” exemplifies the band's thematic focus on existential reflections wrapped in their trademark visceral sound. Clocking in at over eight minutes, the single is a testament to the band's ambition, merging aggressive riffs with orchestral undertones to create an immersive auditory experience. The accompanying music video, directed by Dylan Hryciuk of Versa Films, adds a visual narrative to the track's introspective lyrics, which question humanity’s role in the potential destruction of the world. This inquiry into moral and ethical questions showcases the band’s lyrical depth and enhances their storytelling through deathcore, a subgenre often dominated by sonic brutality over narrative complexity.

In conjunction with the album release, Lorna Shore has announced a comprehensive North American tour to further celebrate their latest musical venture. This tour, starting on September 17 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will see the band headlining alongside The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow of Intent, and PeelingFlesh. The extensive tour covers major cities and notable venues across the U.S. and Canada, culminating in a Halloween performance in New York City at the iconic Madison Square Garden's Theater. Live Nation is behind the production of the tour, ensuring wide visibility and a robust fan engagement opportunity.

The band’s current lineup, featuring Will Ramos on vocals following the departure of former vocalist CJ McCreery, has been well-received by fans and critics alike. Ramos's integration into Lorna Shore saw him bring a distinct flavor to the group's already dynamic sound, a development that has added layers of complexity and vigor to their live performances and studio recordings. Ramos, initially known for his work with Monument of a Memory and A Wake in Providence, has since been a driving force in maintaining and amplifying the band’s signature intensity.

In anticipation of the tour and album release, fans can explore “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me” through pre-orders available on various music retail platforms. This strategic move positions Lorna Shore to continue their upward trajectory within the metal community, building on their previous achievements that included significant Spotify chart placements and viral hits. The band's insistence on pushing musical boundaries has garnered them a fervent following and placed them at the forefront of the modern deathcore scene, insisting other genres step up to their innovative standards.
