Renowned Heart singer and songwriter Ann Wilson is gearing up to captivate audiences once again with the release of “Ann Wilson & Tripsitter: Live in Concert” to Blu-ray and digital video, set for June 6. This live recording offers fans a chance to relive Wilson's mesmerizing performance originally aired on PBS in November 2023. Accompanied by her band Tripsitter, the concert took place at Nashville's Brooklyn Bowl during a tour for their album “Another Door,” showcasing a mix of new material and beloved classics.

“Another Door,” released in September 2023, marks a significant milestone in Wilson's illustrious career. It is the first time since the 1970s that she collaborated with a band to write a full-length album of original songs. Wilson worked alongside Tripsitter members Tony Lucido on bass, Ryan Wariner on guitars, Sean T Lane on drums, and Paul Moak on guitars and keyboards, with additional guitar contributions from Tom Bukovac. The album is notable not only for its collaborative spirit but also because Wilson took on the sole lyricist role, crafting songs fueled by her reflections on societal turmoil, as seen in tracks like “Rain of Hell.”

The live concert delivers a setlist filled with both new songs and timeless Heart hits such as “Crazy On You,” “Magic Man,” and “Barracuda.” Ann Wilson's powerful performances of Led Zeppelin classics, “Immigrant Song” and “Going to California,” add another layer of depth to the repertoire. The energy of these live renditions captures the essence of Wilson's long-standing influence in the rock music scene. Her voice, which has been riveting audiences for over five decades, continues to demonstrate why she holds a firm place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and why she received the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

The upcoming Blu-ray release is a collaborative effort facilitated by TH Entertainment and Mercury Studios, formerly known as Eagle Rock Entertainment. The Blu-ray version not only amplifies the aural quality but also preserves the electrifying ambiance of the live set. Fans of Ann Wilson and Heart are eagerly anticipating this release, as it promises to embody the passionate, heartfelt performance that Wilson is famous for.

In addition to her work with Tripsitter, Ann Wilson remains dynamically active in the music world. She will reunite with her sister Nancy Wilson for a new Heart tour titled “An Evening With Heart.” Kicking off on May 31 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, this tour is expected to bring the duo's powerful, iconic presence back to the stage, much to the delight of their fans worldwide.
