Billy Idol, the legendary British rocker, is back with a major tour announcement, bringing along the iconic Joan Jett & the Blackhearts for the “It's a Nice Day to…Tour Again!” The tour not only marks a dynamic collaboration between these two rock icons but also showcases Idol's unique approach to delivering news. In a creative and engaging promotional strategy, the rocker enlisted comedian Matt Rife to get the news out through a humorous video that riffed on Idol’s most famous tracks.

Launching on April 30, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, the tour is designed to captivate audiences with a blend of nostalgia and fresh performances. The tour will feature stops at major venues, including Madison Square Garden in New York City, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, and the iconic Kia Forum in Los Angeles. These venues have historically played host to some of the greatest musicians, reflecting the grand scale of the tour. As part of Idol's continued commitment to social causes, five dollars from each ticket sold at the Los Angeles show will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid Southern California Wildfire Relief, a philanthropic effort that Idol will personally match.

The tour’s organization, spearheaded by industry giant Live Nation, is set to run in two legs: the first spanning from April to May, and the second from August to September. This bifurcated structure allows fans across North America ample opportunities to catch these rock legends in action. Joan Jett, known for timeless classics such as “Bad Reputation” and “I Love Rock ‘N Roll,” will share the stage with Idol, promising audiences nothing short of electrifying performances. Both artists, with their storied careers and groundbreaking contributions to the rock music landscape, are expected to deliver an unforgettable live music experience.

Presale tickets will be made available starting January 22 at 9 a.m. local time, followed by local presales on January 23, and general ticket sales kick off on January 24. Tickets can be procured through Idol's official website, providing fans a straightforward and organized ticket purchasing process. This efficient system ensures that all fans have a fair chance to secure their seats to witness this monumental celebration of rock music.

In addition to the tour, Idol is anticipated to release a new album later this year under Dark Horse Records, fueling fan excitement and adding momentum to the tour. This new creative output will likely feature the same vigor and edge that have defined Idol's career. Last year, Idol commemorated the 40th anniversary of his famed sophomore album “Rebel Yell,” an event marked with a deluxe edition release, indicating his continued influence and relevance in the rock music scene.
