The Australian indie-rock sensation, Royel Otis, is set to electrify North America with their eagerly anticipated 2025 ‘Meet Me in the Car’ tour. This extensive tour not only marks their audacious venture across the U.S. but also promises a thrilling blend of their indie rock soundscapes, adored covers, and fresh releases. Commencing in the bustling city of Seattle on August 5, 2025, the tour will make its way through major cities like Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Austin, Boston, and New York, wrapping up in the iconic setting of The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City on October 11.

Before embarking on their headline tour, Royel Otis will be gracing some of the world's most celebrated music festivals throughout the summer, including Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and many more. This festival circuit is a continuation of their already stellar trajectory post the release of their 2024 debut album, *Pratts & Pain*. The duo’s 2024 was marked by significant achievements, such as winning multiple ARIA Awards and making a Billboard Hot 100 debut, solidifying their place in the global music scene.

As they gear up to captivate audiences once again, Royel Otis is also set to release a new single titled “Moody,” slated for a May 9 release. This single is anticipated to draw attention not just for its musicality, but as a glimpse into the duo's evolving artistry and the creative directions they’re exploring. The track holds the promise of adding a new dimension to their live performances during the upcoming tour, underscoring their commitment to continually reinventing their sound.

The tour's announcement first came through a poised Instagram post, capturing the excitement of both fans and the band members, Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic. Their dynamic synergy, evident in their effervescent live shows, has been a driving force behind their rising popularity, and the upcoming tour sure intends to amplify this momentum. Special guest performers, including DANCER and bby, are expected to infuse additional vibrancy into select shows, offering audiences an enriched live music experience.

In addition to headlining their own tour, Royel Otis is expected to continue dabbling in covers, a strategy that has previously brought them notable chart success. Their rendition of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor” and The Cranberries’ “Linger” significantly boosted their profile, showcasing their ability to reinterpret classic hits with fresh, innovative flair. These elements likely contribute to one of the appealing pillars of their live sets, fostering both nostalgia and discovery among diverse fan brackets.

Ticket sales for the Meet Me in the Car tour are set to launch for the general populace on May 9, 2025, via Ticketmaster, with numerous pre-sale opportunities preceding this date. Fans keen on securing early access can participate in artist pre-sales through sign-ups hosted on their official website. Using pre-sale codes such as ‘FREESTYLE', provided by Live Nation for select dates, also facilitates early bird ticket acquisition.
