PRIMAL FEAR, the celebrated German power metal band, is set to release their new album, “Domination”, on September 5, 2025, via Reigning Phoenix Music. This upcoming release has already generated significant buzz, thanks in part to the unveiling of the lead single, “Far Away”. The track, which debuted alongside a performance-style music video on YouTube, showcases the band’s signature sound characterized by soaring melodies, powerful bass and drums, and an explosive twin-guitar solo. Vocalist Ralf Scheepers' commanding vocals infuse the song with a poignant sense of longing, embodying the theme of missing a loved one, a sentiment relatable to musicians constantly on the road.

Having been a leading figure in the power metal scene for almost three decades, PRIMAL FEAR continues to build on a legacy forged under the leadership of Mat Sinner and Ralf Scheepers. The band is renowned for their dedication to evolving their sound with each album, capturing the hearts of a global audience. The anticipation for “Domination” follows the success of their previous album “Code Red”, released in 2023, which delivered some of the highest chart positions in the band's career. This ever-rising trajectory is set to continue with “Domination”.

“Domination” promises to deliver a wide range of sounds and themes, as seen in its varied track listing. Featuring hard-hitting numbers such as “The Hunter” and “Far Away”, an epic ballad in “Eden” with a guest spot by AD INFINITUM's Melissa Bonny, and the reflective piano-driven closer “A Tune I Won't Forget”, the album is a comprehensive showcase of the band’s dynamic capabilities. Thalìa Bellazecca and André Hilgers are notable new members, adding fresh energy to the band’s creative process. Magnus Karlsson, the prolific guitarist and songsmith, returns to enrich both the recording and live performances, rounding off the quintet’s new-era line-up.

The album was recorded in autumn 2024 at Dennis Ward's Kangaroo Studios in Germany and involved collaboration between members Mat Sinner, Ralf Scheepers, and Magnus Karlsson. Sinner took the helm as producer, while the esteemed Jacob Hansen, known for his exemplary mixing and mastering skills, ensured the final product met the high standards synonymous with PRIMAL FEAR. The album cover, designed by Death.Milk.Designs, visually complements the music’s intensity and emotion.

PRIMAL FEAR is gearing up for their most extensive European tour since 2018, promising fans an unforgettable live experience. They will be warming up at five select summer festivals alongside RPM labelmates ELEINE, who will be joining as special guests. The band’s European tour embodies their unyielding energy and dedication to their craft, with performances set in various locations including Hamburg, Berlin, and Prague.

The foundation of PRIMAL FEAR's music lies in their classic metal roots, echoing influences from iconic metal trailblazers but continually refreshing their sound. Despite lineup changes over the years, the band has maintained its unwavering commitment to producing music that resonates both in studio recordings and live performances. Songs like “Far Away” emphasize their skill in blending heavy metal vigor with deep emotional undertones, proving their music remains as compelling as ever. This latest chapter in PRIMAL FEAR’s storied journey not only aims to sustain their established legacy but to further cement their status as power metal royalty.
