Tom Hamilton, renowned bassist from Aerosmith, has embarked on a new musical journey with the band Close Enemies, offering fans a fresh sonic experience. Close Enemies, comprising seasoned musicians including Tony Brock, Peter Stroud, Trace Foster, and Chasen Hampton, has captured the attention of the music world with its debut single, “Sound of a Train.” Released with an accompanying lyric video, this single is generating significant buzz as it marks the group’s entry into the rock music scene.

In creating Close Enemies, Hamilton tapped into a wealth of musical expertise and camaraderie. Tony Brock, known for his tenure with Rod Stewart and The Babys, takes on the role of drummer, bringing his dynamic percussive skills to the band. Guitarists Peter Stroud and Trace Foster add their distinctive flair, drawn from experiences with Sheryl Crow and Aerosmith, respectively. Frontman Chasen Hampton ties the ensemble together with his compelling vocal presence. Together, these five musicians blend their talents, each contributing to the band’s blues-rock sound that is proving irresistible to audiences.

Following the release of their debut single, Close Enemies has embarked on a tour, which initially kicked off at Philadelphia City Winery. The tour will span major cities, providing fans the opportunity to experience the band’s live performances. Upcoming shows include appearances at Nashville City Winery and St. Louis City Winery, offering a chance to witness the group’s compelling blend of blues and rock firsthand.

As Aerosmith concludes its touring career due to Steven Tyler’s vocal health issues, Tom Hamilton’s shift to Close Enemies represents not only a new chapter for him but also an invitation for fans to journey alongside him. With the buzz surrounding “Sound of a Train” and the band's competent lineup, Hamilton and Close Enemies are poised to make a significant impact in the contemporary rock scene, inspiring new and seasoned listeners alike.
