Killswitch Engage, the renowned metalcore band from Massachusetts, has announced a highly anticipated return to Europe and the UK for an extensive headline tour beginning September 2025. The tour is a significant event for both the band and their fans, marking their first European headline tour in six years. With a reputation for high-energy performances, Killswitch Engage is set to deliver memorable shows featuring a mix of fan favorites and tracks from their latest album, “This Consequence.” Special guests on the tour include Hatebreed, Fit For An Autopsy, Decapitated, and Employed To Serve, creating a powerhouse lineup of bands that will excite metal fans across the continent.

The tour kicks off on September 29 in Lisbon, Portugal, and concludes on December 3 in Helsinki, Finland. The UK and Irish leg of the tour will feature Hatebreed, while Employed To Serve will join the lineup for the mainland European dates. Cities on the tour route include major European capitals such as Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, and Paris, as well as an anticipated stop at the OVO Arena Wembley in London. This comprehensive itinerary ensures that fans across Europe and the UK will have abundant opportunities to catch the live performances.

The band's latest album, “This Consequence,” released in February 2025 via Metal Blade Records, is central to this tour. The new record has pushed Killswitch Engage into fresh musical realms, incorporating different elements while staying true to their distinctive sound. Tracks like “Forever Aligned” and “I Believe” have already established a strong presence online, with the latter amassing over one million views on YouTube. “This Consequence” reflects a period of creative reflection and growth for the band, spearheaded by frontman Jesse Leach and pushed to new heights through a collaborative writing process.

In the making of “This Consequence,” the band committed to a highly collaborative approach, led by vocalist Jesse Leach and guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz. The group decided to work intensively together in person, a return to roots that allowed the natural chemistry between members to fuel the songwriting and recording process. This renewed sense of unity and vigor is evident in the quality and intensity of the album’s output. According to Leach, the album embodies a fresh spirit, carrying layered themes of social and environmental consequences while maintaining a heartfelt and honest lyricism.

Jesse Leach has expressed his excitement for the upcoming tour, emphasizing the strength of the lineup and the opportunity to showcase new material alongside classic hits. He describes this tour as long overdue, reflecting the band's eagerness to reconnect with their dedicated fanbase. He is optimistic that the mix of setlist staples and fresh tracks will energize long-time followers and new fans alike. Tickets for Killswitch Engage’s headline return to Europe and the UK go on general sale on May 9, with presale opportunities available through various platforms.
