Journey are saying goodbye to the road with a massive 60 date North American trek in 2026, billed as the Final Frontier Tour and described as “A Special Evening With Journey” in every city. The run begins February 28 at Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and closes July 2 at Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas.

Presented by AEG Presents, the tour is framed as a celebration of more than five decades of arena rock, built around a career-spanning set that will feature staples like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Lights,” and deeper cuts for longtime fans.

A Long Goodbye for an Arena Rock Institution

In announcing the tour, guitarist and founding member Neal Schon called the Final Frontier run a full circle moment for the band and its audience, emphasizing gratitude and connection and promising a new production, big visuals, and a set built for fans who have followed them through every era.

Keyboardist Jonathan Cain has also described the tour as a chance to “feel that magic together” one more time, even as he has signaled that he plans to wind down his own touring at the end of the 2026–27 window while remaining committed to the farewell dates.

The lineup for the Final Frontier Tour features:

  • Neal Schon – guitar

  • Jonathan Cain – keyboards

  • Arnel Pineda – lead vocals

  • Deen Castronovo – drums and vocals

  • Jason Derlatka – keyboards and vocals

  • Todd Jensen – bass

Each show is advertised as an “evening with” format, meaning no announced support act and an extended Journey set.

One notable storyline: although the tour is being promoted as a farewell and Journey famously emerged from the San Francisco Bay Area, there are no Bay Area dates on this run. The closest stop for Northern California fans is Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center on April 21.

Tickets, Presales, and On-Sales

Tickets for the Final Frontier Tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time, with Citi cardmember presales and select VIP or Platinum options opening on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 via Ticketmaster.

Promoters note that dates and details are subject to change, and fans are encouraged to confirm information via official ticketing outlets and Journey’s own channels before making travel plans.

Why This Run Matters for Fans and Promoters

For fans, this 60 date itinerary is likely the last chance to see Journey in a full-scale arena production under the classic banner, with both Schon and Cain onstage alongside Pineda and the current lineup. For promoters and venues, the tour represents one of the major classic rock draws of 2026, with a dense run that hits primary and secondary markets across the United States and Canada.

While Schon has hinted that his own musical projects will continue in some form after the Final Frontier dates conclude, the branding and scale of this run make it clear that this is intended as the definitive farewell to Journey’s long era as a touring arena institution.
