According to Pink Floyd's official announcement, the pop ups are part of the campaign titled “Pink Floyd x News and Coffee Studio 50 Years of Wish You Were Here.” They open on 12 December 2025.

• London
• Los Angeles
• Barcelona
• Paris
• Berlin
• Milan

Fans who visit the stores will have access to a limited, numbered “Wish You Were Here 50” fanzine, with each city receiving a unique cover designed for that location. There will also be a white vinyl 50th anniversary edition of the album available exclusively at the pop up stores.

The band notes that all physical items are produced in limited quantities, and availability is not guaranteed once each location sells through.

What Fans Can Expect

In addition to city specific fanzines and vinyl, the pop up stores will include curated merchandise, visual displays, and themed areas that pay tribute to the album and its imagery. The concept reflects a growing trend where major artists create temporary immersive retail spaces for fans seeking rare or collectible items.

The campaign coincides with the global release of Wish You Were Here 50, a new edition of the album that highlights one of Pink Floyd's most celebrated works.

Berlin, Milan, and the official online Pink Floyd store will also carry a “Global Edition” of the fanzine for fans unable to visit the core locations.

Why It Matters

The original Wish You Were Here, released in 1975, remains one of Pink Floyd's most influential albums. The anniversary celebration underscores the ongoing demand for the band's catalog and memorabilia. For collectors, the pop up stores offer a rare opportunity to purchase items that will not be sold again once the promotion ends.

With limited merchandise, city exclusives, and a global fanbase eager for physical releases, the Pink Floyd pop up series is expected to draw significant lines in each market.
