Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes are set to electrify the 27th season of NBC's The Voice as the show's newest Mega Mentors. As the playoff rounds approach, the duo's participation adds a thrilling new dynamic to the competition, enhancing the portfolio of illustrious mentors the show has seen. Throughout its history, The Voice has brought in stars like Taylor Swift, Wynonna Judd, and Keith Urban to mentor its contestants. With this season featuring standout coaches like John Legend, Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini, and Adam Levine, Crow and Rimes will provide additional mentorship and guidance.

The decision to involve Crow and Rimes reflects both artists' impressive careers and their connections to The Voice. While Crow was previously a mentor during the show's fourth season, Rimes brings her experience from coaching on The Voice UK and The Voice Australia. Between them, they boast an impressive 11 Grammy Awards and have sold over 80 million albums globally, making them well-suited to impart valuable industry insights. Crow's recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, alongside her extensive discography including hits such as “All I Wanna Do” and “If It Makes You Happy”, underscores her standing in the music world. Rimes, meanwhile, continues to be a formidable force in country music, known for hits like “How Do I Live”.

This season's coaches will enter the Playoffs with five artists each, a setup that will necessitate crucial decisions on which contestants proceed to the Live Shows. The teams will benefit from the strategic and creative input from Crow and Rimes, potentially boosting their chances of success. Crow will lend her expertise to teams led by Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé, whereas Rimes will work alongside John Legend and Adam Levine. Their distinct styles and experiences promise to enrich the musical diversity that The Voice scholars admire.
