Neil Young is generating excitement among his fans as he prepares for the release of an upcoming album with his new band, Chrome Hearts. Young, a music industry stalwart known for his evocative storytelling and vibrant compositions, has given his audience a glimpse of what to expect by sharing his first single with Chrome Hearts, titled “Big Change.” This debut track has already begun to make waves, offering a taste of the fresh sound that Young and his bandmates—Micah Nelson on guitar and vocals, Spooner Oldham on Farfisa organ, Corey McCormick on bass and vocals, and Anthony LoGerfo on drums—are crafting.

Fans are particularly eager since Young has shared details about the creative journey behind this project. Recording took place at Rick Rubin's famous Shangri-La studio in Malibu, with collaboration from producers John Hanlon and Young’s brother-in-law Lou Adler. The location, known for its historical significance in music production, se ems to have invigorated Young's creative process. The music has been described by Young as feeling fresh, underscoring his enthusiasm for this new chapter. The excitement is further fueled by his statement that the album is currently in the mastering phase, promising listeners that it would soon be ready for physical and digital release.

On top of the album release, Young is looking forward to presenting these new songs live on stage. Plans for a summer tour have been set, with performances across Europe, the USA, and Canada. This upcoming tour holds a promise to breathe energy into a landscape that has been yearning for live music experiences, especially performances by seasoned artists like Young. As it stands, Glastonbury is one confirmed spot on the itinerary, a nod to the festival’s tradition of hosting legendary music icons. Fans can anticipate a rekindling of the vibrant spirit of live concerts, with Young’s new work set to captivate audiences worldwide.
