Vampire Weekend has announced a return to the stage with their “Only God Was Above Us” tour, which is set to commence in Spring 2025. With a full schedule that spans from May through September, the tour will feature a captivating combination of festival performances and dynamic headlining shows across North America and Europe, The spring section of the tour kicks off at the Just Like Heaven festival in Pasadena on May 10, and brings the band to Boston's extensive lineup at Boston Calling on May 25. This year, audiences are treated to a lineup that includes the edgy Brooklyn-based band, Geese, and the Billy Joel tribute act, Turnstiles, who will join Vampire Weekend on select dates.

After the North American performances, the band heads to Europe, where fans can anticipate their participation in several prestigious music festivals during August, including the Vodafone Paredes de Coura in Portugal, Pukkelpop in Belgium, and France’s Cabaret Vert, along with a show at Rock en Seine in Paris. Vampire Weekend plans a grand return to the U.S. in September for further festival appearances, categorically having their mark on events like the Borderland Music + Arts Festival in East Aurora, NY, the Iron Blossom Festival in Richmond, VA, and the Oceans Calling Festival, nestled in the scenic Ocean City, Maryland.

Tickets for the “Only God Was Above Us” tour are set to release to the general public on February 28, following a presale phase occurring earlier in the week. The tour marks a significant period for Vampire Weekend, providing a unique opportunity for fans to witness tracks from their latest album performed live, combined with classic hits from their esteemed discography. Their 2024 album, lauded by critics, continues to elevate their status within the industry, showcasing their evolution and resilience as a band.

The inclusion of emerging bands like Geese and the nostalgic allure of Turnstiles enriches the concert-going experience, offering diverse musical influences within one tour package. As the “Only God Was Above Us” tour approaches, anticipation builds, setting the stage for what is bound to be a memorable set of performances from a band that has consistently reinvented the parameters of modern indie music.
