Rick Springfield is once again bringing the magic of the 1980s back by launching his “I Want My ’80s Tour” in 2025. Kicking off on May 29 in St. Augustine, Florida, this highly anticipated tour will traverse the United States, culminating on August 10 in Henderson, Nevada. Rick Springfield is not alone on this nostalgic journey, as he is accompanied by fellow 80s rock luminaries such as John Waite and Wang Chung, who will be present throughout the entire tour. Additionally, icons Paul Young and John Cafferty will make appearances on select dates, further enriching the concert experience.

The tour promises to be a spectacular throwback, celebrating the evergreen hits that defined a generation. Fans can expect Springfield to perform classics like “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” and “Love Somebody.” Adding their own touch of 80s flair, John Waite will likely thrill audiences with his timeless tracks “Missing You” and “When I See You Smile” from his time with Bad English. Wang Chung will elevate the nostalgia with hits such as “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” and “Dance Hall Days,” aiming to get the audience dancing in the aisles. Completing this incredible lineup, John Cafferty, renowned for his work with the Beaver Brown Band and favorites like “On the Dark Side,” will bring his rock vigor to the stage.

Tickets for Rick Springfield’s “I Want My ’80s Tour” are already generating buzz, with presales beginning soon to meet what is expected to be substantial demand. General sales are slated to commence on February 14, and fans are encouraged to secure their tickets swiftly to avoid disappointment. With ticket prices starting at an accessible $43.50, this tour is poised to draw large crowds eager to relive their favorite musical moments.

The tour will cover major cities, each hosting venues that resonate with the cultural and musical legacy of the 1980s. In addition to the major tour stops, Rick Springfield will also engage audiences with a series of acoustic shows featuring Richard Marx in select cities. These acoustic sets promise to deliver an intimate performance experience, offering fans a different interpretation of Springfield's music catalogue.
