Jeff Goldblum, the multi-talented actor and musician, has announced the release of his fourth studio album, Still Blooming, a project that continues his passion for jazz and showcases his versatility. The album is set to be released on April 25, 2025, under Decca Records and highlights Goldblum's longstanding relationship with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. This exciting new installment features interpretations of classic jazz, Broadway, and big band pieces from the revered Golden Era of Broadway and the Great American Songbook.

A focal point of the album is Goldblum's collaboration with his “Wicked” movie co-stars, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Grande lends her vocals to the opening track, “I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do),” while Erivo brings her unique touch to “We'll Meet Again.” Both tracks serve as a heartwarming homage to their shared experiences on set and showcase their individual musical talents. This album marks an Emerald City reunion, further elevating the jazz-infused interpretations and celebrating the harmonious blend of stage and screen.

The collaboration doesn't end there. Goldblum also joins forces with Scarlett Johansson, known for her remarkable acting career as well as her musical ventures, including studio albums Anywhere I Lay My Head and Break Up with Pete Yorn. Johansson collaborates with Goldblum on the track “The Best Is Yet to Come,” a song made famous by Frank Sinatra, adding her unique voice and style to the rendition. Additionally, Maiya Sykes, known for her powerhouse vocals, joins the ensemble for “Stella By Starlight,” adding to the album's rich and diverse auditory experience.

Goldblum's music career, albeit starting later in life, has been notably fueled by genuine enthusiasm and collaboration with notable artists. His venture into the music world began conspicuously with his debut album, The Capitol Studio Sessions, released in 2018. Since then, Goldblum has graced audiences with enchanting performances characterized by his interpretive jazz stylings. His 2023 EP, Plays Well With Others, further established his musical prowess and garnered collaborations with talents like Kelly Clarkson and Matiel.

This latest album not only exemplifies Goldblum's unyielding commitment to jazz but also provides a unique confluence where Hollywood icons and jazz maestros unite. Each piece in Still Blooming is carefully curated, blending instrumental mastery with masterful vocal performances. Jeff Goldblum's ability to foster a collaborative environment aligns with his belief in highlighting the organic link between jazz and pop culture, ensuring each guest artist's attributes are showcased to their fullest potential.
