Devo, the iconic new wave band, has announced a 2025 North American tour that spans from May through August. This tour, titled “50 Years of De-Evolution… Continued!”, marks an extension of their farewell tour initiated in 2023. Known for their pioneering influence in the new wave movement, Devo's tour involves a mix of headlining shows, festival appearances, and an opening slot for My Chemical Romance.

The tour kicks off on May 1 in Philadelphia at The Met Philadelphia, and then moves to major cities such as Washington, D.C., Brooklyn, and Boston. During this journey, Devo will make appearances at prestigious festivals, including the Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City and the Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, which highlight the band's significant role in the alternative and new wave genres.

The tour coincides with major celebrations of their storied career, blending energetic performances with nostalgia. Notably, Devo begins 2025 with a prominent appearance at “SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert” at Radio City Music Hall on February 14, sharing the stage with artists like Lady Gaga, David Byrne, and Jack White. This event is a precursor to the extensive tour that follows, giving fans a taste of what to expect from the upcoming live shows.

Tickets for this highly anticipated tour go on sale on February 7 at 10 a.m. local time, with a pre-sale on February 5 through Live Nation using the access code “DUET.” Fans eager to secure a spot at these landmark concerts can purchase tickets through platforms like Ticketmaster and AXS, ensuring widespread accessibility to this once-in-a-lifetime event.
