Eagles Set ‘One of These Nights’ Deluxe Edition for May 1 With Unreleased 1975 Concert

Don Henley performing live on stage in concert

The Eagles are revisiting one of their defining albums with a major archival release. Rhino says One of These Nights (Deluxe Edition) arrives May 1 as a 3CD/Blu-ray package and a 3LP set, each built around a new mix of the original 1975 album and a previously unreleased live show from Anaheim Stadium.

What is in the deluxe edition?

According to Rhino, the expanded set includes the complete studio album plus a 16-song concert recorded September 28, 1975, at the Sunshine Festival in Anaheim. Rhino says the release also includes Dolby Atmos and high resolution stereo versions.

Rhino also says the set captures a key transition moment in band history. The show is billed as Bernie Leadon’s final performance with the Eagles, while Joe Walsh appears for the encore on “Rocky Mountain Way.”

First preview track and format details

Rhino says a live cover of Chuck Berry’s “Carol” is available now as the first preview track from the previously unreleased concert recording. The label also says the vinyl lacquers were cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.

The deluxe reissue is scheduled in two physical editions on May 1:

  • 3CD/Blu-ray edition with the new album mix, the Anaheim concert, and Atmos and hi-res stereo audio
  • 3LP edition with the new album mix and the full live show

Why this release matters now

One of These Nights was a commercial and artistic turning point for the Eagles, with major hits including “One of These Nights,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” and “Take It to the Limit.” Rhino says the album became the first of four consecutive No. 1 albums for the band and earned the group’s first Grammy Award.

Rhino says the May 1 release date lands ahead of the band’s New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival appearance and additional stadium dates tied to The Long Goodbye, Act III.
