The dynamic alternative metal band Deftones is set to extend their electrifying 2025 North American tour with an additional segment featuring exciting performances and collaborations. Following a highly successful first leg, punctuated by sold-out shows including two explosive nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, the band is eager to bring their high-octane live shows to even more fans. The second leg will commence on August 22 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and conclude in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 17. This extension is designed to cover locations not visited during their initial leg, ensuring a wide audience can experience their music live.

An intriguing aspect of this tour is the lineup featuring the hard-hitting IDLES and Phantogram. This aspect of the tour should appeal to a broad spectrum of music fans, expanding Deftones' reach across different listener demographics. While Phantogram will accompany the band on the first eight dates, injecting their signature electronic rock vibe, IDLES will join in on the last six, bringing their potent post-punk energy to the stage. Throughout all performances, The Barbarians of California will provide consistent support, setting the stage for each night's main events.

Tickets for this leg of the tour are expected to be in high demand, with pre-sales beginning as early as March 13 and running until March 16. Following this, general sales will open on March 17, offering a window for every eager fan to secure their chance to see these giants of alternative metal live. Deftones' ability to create an intoxicating live atmosphere is renowned, and their collaboration with IDLES and Phantogram ensures each show will be a distinct musical journey. The concerts are scheduled in strategically chosen cities such as Minneapolis, Montreal, Cleveland, and Denver, allowing for a wide distribution of their performances across North America.

Enthralling reviews have hailed the band as “definitional for what young people want out of heavy music,” a testament to Deftones' lasting impact on the alternative metal genre. The ongoing tour, featuring The Mars Volta and Fleshwater in its current leg, will wrap up its thrilling first chapter on April 9 in Newark, New Jersey. Attendees can revel in the immersive sonic landscapes that Deftones have masterfully crafted over their decades-long career.
