Foreigner is set to energize the music scene once again with an extensive Canadian tour kicking off in the fall of 2025. This tour introduces an exciting element for fans by featuring guest vocalist Geordie Brown. The band’s decision to include Brown stems from his critically acclaimed role as the male lead in the workshop production of Juke Box Hero, The Musical, which premiered in Calgary and Edmonton and enjoyed a sold-out performance in Toronto. Brown’s participation is anticipated to infuse the tour with an additional layer of theatrical prowess and vocal dynamism, aligning perfectly with the band’s vibrant legacy. Foreigner’s founder, Mick Jones, has publicly praised Brown for his impressive performances, stating that his vocal talent and Broadway experience make him a formidable addition to the tour.

The tour will also serve as a prelude to the broader exposure of Juke Box Hero, The Musical, scheduled for a full production in 2026. This strategic preview aims to gather momentum and intrigue for the musical, tapping into the thrill of live performances and connecting them with Foreigner’s storied repertoire. The fall tour promises to be particularly special, cementing their connection with a robust Canadian fan base cultivated over decades.

Starting on October 21 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the band will journey westward, stopping in major cities including Halifax, Ottawa, and Montreal, among others. The tour concludes in Kelowna, British Columbia, on November 7. Some shows will also feature performances by renowned Canadian rock band 54.40, known for their hits “I Go Blind” and “Ocean Pearl,” heightening the concert experience with a blend of renowned hits and new theatrical elements.

The ensemble’s sustained popularity is evidenced not only by their packed touring schedule but also by their achievements on global music charts. With several hits still streaming prolifically, boasting over 15 million weekly streams, songs like “I Want To Know What Love Is” remain deeply embedded in the collective musical consciousness. This particular song’s recent induction into Spotify’s Billions Club underscores its evergreen nature and the band’s ability to transcend generations with their powerful lyrics and timeless melodies.
