An all-star lineup is set to honor the famed Canadian rock group, Triumph, with a tribute album titled Magic Power: All Star Tribute to Triumph. Slated for release on June 6, 2025, by Round Hill Records, this project gathers a stellar ensemble of rock luminaries, including Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach, and Heart's Nancy Wilson, among others. This tribute album is not only a celebration of Triumph’s legacy but also a testament to their significant impact on rock music, showcasing their timeless appeal and artistic innovation that resonated deeply with fans across generations.

Triumph, which originated in 1975 in Mississauga, Ontario, quickly became one of Canada's most successful rock bands, celebrated for their pioneering live performances that leveraged cutting-edge technology in lighting and sound. The band, consisting of Gil Moore, Mike Levine, and Rik Emmett, became renowned for their sophisticated use of pyrotechnics, lasers, and moving lighting rigs, elements that helped cement their status as arena rock legends. Classic hits such as “Magic Power,” “Lay It On The Line,” and “Fight The Good Fight” not only became staples of their electrifying live shows but also helped them break into the mainstream music scene in the USA, expanding their fan base even further.

The tribute album, meticulously crafted by veteran producer Mike Clink, promises to reintroduce fans to the energetic and intense sound of Triumph. Clink, known for his work with heavyweights like Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, and Whitesnake, has pulled together an impressive line-up of musicians. This includes prominent drummers like Kenny Aronoff and Tommy Aldridge, and celebrated guitarists such as Alex Lifeson, Bumblefoot, Paul Gilbert, and Nita Strauss, ensuring that the musical homage performs not only a vocal tribute but also a powerful instrumental reenactment of Triumph's classics. The album aims to dazzle listeners with fresh renditions of fan-favorites, injecting new life into classics like “Rock & Roll Machine,” sung by Sebastian Bach, and “Lay It On The Line,” performed by Dee Snider.

Sebastian Bach has expressed immense pride and enthusiasm about his involvement in the tribute, emphasizing how Triumph's music holds a special place in his heart and acknowledging the band's influence on his own musical journey. Similarly, Dee Snider fondly recalls being captivated the first time he heard Triumph’s sound, stating, “There’s only one Rik Emmett and Triumph. I’m honored to be a part of this!”

In addition to celebrating Triumph’s existing legacy, the tribute album serves as a bridge to re-engage long-time fans while reaching new audiences. It marks an opportunity for listeners to experience Triumph's defining anthems in a modern light, reimagined by some of today's most respected rock artists. As the album is set to be released in multiple formats, including CD and a double-LP gatefold edition, it invites fans both old and new to rediscover the magic and power inherent in Triumph's music.
