Jon Anderson, the legendary former Yes vocalist, has officially revealed new plans for a studio album with his touring band The Band Geeks, along with a full slate of 2026 tour dates. The forthcoming album, now in pre production, is being targeted for release in the second half of 2026 and will serve as the follow up to Anderson's 2024 collaboration with the group, True.

New Album in Progress

Anderson described the new record as a large scale and ambitious project, noting that he and The Band Geeks are still “building another skyscraper of a piece of music.” The band, led by Richie Castellano, has toured extensively with Anderson in recent years, performing deep cuts and classic Yes epics with a level of musicianship that has earned widespread acclaim among prog rock fans.

The new album is expected to expand on the melodic and layered approach of True and continue Anderson’s creative resurgence with the group.
