Def Leppard have launched a major Las Vegas residency, returning to Sin City with a multi-night run that celebrates their legacy while offering fans a refreshed live experience.

The residency takes place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, one of Las Vegas’ most prestigious performance venues. The shows run throughout February 2026 and mark the band’s third extended stay in Las Vegas, following earlier residencies that proved hugely popular with fans.

A New Production for Vegas

Rather than simply recreating their recent touring setup, Def Leppard designed an entirely new stage production specifically for the residency. The band has described the Vegas run as a chance to rethink their presentation, allowing for more flexibility in the setlist and a more immersive visual experience than a traditional arena tour.

The shows feature a mix of Def Leppard’s biggest hits alongside deeper catalog selections that are rarely played live. Songs such as “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” and “Hysteria” remain central to the performance, while longtime fans are also treated to surprise inclusions that change from night to night.

Blending Nostalgia With Something New

One of the highlights of the residency is the inclusion of newer material alongside the classics. The band debuted new music during the opening nights of the Vegas run, reinforcing that the residency is not just a retrospective but a snapshot of where Def Leppard are creatively today.

Frontman Joe Elliott has said the band wanted the residency to feel special for fans who may attend multiple shows, with subtle variations in pacing, song order, and presentation across the run.

Why Vegas Works for Def Leppard

Las Vegas offers Def Leppard a unique environment that differs from a traditional tour stop. The fixed venue allows for more elaborate lighting and sound design, while the city’s destination appeal makes it easier for fans to plan trips around the shows.

The Colosseum’s theater-style layout also gives the performances a more intimate feel than a typical arena, even as the band delivers the same power and volume that have defined their live reputation for decades.

Still a Major Draw Decades In

More than 40 years after their breakthrough, Def Leppard remain one of rock’s most reliable live acts. Their Las Vegas residency underscores the band’s lasting appeal and their ability to adapt without losing the core sound that made them global stars.

For fans, the residency offers a rare opportunity to see Def Leppard in a controlled setting designed entirely around their music, their history, and their ongoing evolution as a live band.
