The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced an exciting new tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band. Dubbed the “Hidden in Pieces Tour”, this journey promises to deliver fresh interpretations of their vast catalog, incorporating intimate settings that will allow fans to experience their music in a “captivating new light”. The intimate theater tour will start in London before coming to North America. This series of concerts emphasizes the band's commitment to providing unique, engaging musical experiences by combining electric guitars with strings and piano. This approach aims to breathe new life into old fan favorites as well as lesser-known deep cuts.

The tour is set to commence on June 16th at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, UK, before moving on to perform at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London. These initial UK dates will set a grand stage for what's to come as they transition to venues across North America, including Mexico City’s Teatro Metrópolitan, the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, among others. Each performance will be set in a residency style, allowing the band to settle into these iconic spaces and connect deeply with audiences.

The excitement surrounding this tour is heightened by the fact that it comes shortly after the band’s recent reunion and the release of their 2022 album, Cool It Down, their first in nearly a decade. The album, which was named one of the top albums of 2022, marked their triumphant return to the music scene, and the tour serves as a continuation of this revitalized creative journey for the band. The tour will include a blend of familiar hits and rarities, potentially bringing to life songs that have rarely been heard live or enjoyed in reimagined forms with lush string arrangements.

Tickets for the “Hidden in Pieces Tour” will become available to the general audience on March 21st. There will be earlier artist presales beginning March 19th, giving avid fans the opportunity to secure their spot in what promises to be a series of enchanting evenings filled with music. The band’s decision to donate a portion of ticket sales from their Los Angeles concerts to the SoCal Fire Fund highlights their commitment to social causes.

This tour not only revisits the band’s history but also projects their music into new territories, symbolizing an evolution that fans old and new will be delighted to witness. Celebrating 25 years of music with such intricate performances, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are poised to deliver a series of concerts that will resonate deeply with their audience, indeed proving that there is “not a bad seat in the house”.
