Alabama Shakes, the renowned Southern blues-rock band, has officially announced their eagerly awaited comeback tour for 2025. Kicking off on July 16 in Chicago, this marks their first tour in eight years, taking them across North America with stops in prominent cities such as Nashville, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Austin, Boston, and Seattle. Theys will share the stage with an array of special guests, including names like Bahamas, Shannon & The Clams, and The Budos Band, among others.

The band members, including lead vocalist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, and bassist Zac Cockrell, expressed their enthusiasm about returning as a group and their excitement to perform together again. Howard, who ventured into a successful solo career in 2019, highlighted the band as a significant source of joy, mentioning their desire to combine a nostalgic reminiscence of past works with a focus on future musical projects. According to Howard, the band has been actively recording new material, hinting at fresh releases that fans can eagerly anticipate.

A significant aspect of the tour is the diverse lineup of supporting acts, which not only includes the aforementioned artists but also features Lee Fields, El Michels Affair, Sam Evian, Y La Bamba, and others across different dates. This eclectic mix of opening performers enriches the concert experience, offering a varied and dynamic show each night. For instance, attendees in Nashville will enjoy performances by Alanna Royale and Caleb Elliott before Alabama Shakes take the stage, contributing to a festival-like atmosphere for concert-goers.

Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale to the general public on February 14, following various pre-sales, providing fans with multiple opportunities to secure their spots at the concert. These pre-sales include an artist pre-sale starting on February 11 and a Live Nation pre-sale commencing on February 14, with access codes available for those eager to obtain early tickets. Information and links to purchase tickets are available through platforms like Ticketmaster, ensuring accessibility for all fans awaiting the live music experience.
