Bruce Dickinson, the charismatic frontman of Iron Maiden, has announced a return to the solo touring circuit with “The Mandrake Project Live 2025” North American tour. This announcement marks his first substantial North American solo tour in almost 30 years, a highly anticipated event for both fans of his solo work and Iron Maiden enthusiasts. Dickinson's solo outings have always provided a platform for him to showcase a different facet of his musical prowess, often exploring more personal and varied themes compared to the epic tales delivered with Iron Maiden. The tour is in support of his latest solo album, The Mandrake Project, which debuted on March 1, 2024, much to the excitement of his dedicated followers.

The upcoming tour promises to be a highlight of the year for heavy metal fans across the continent starting on August 22 in Anaheim, California, and wrapping up on October 5 in Los Angeles. Besides hitting major cities such as New York, Houston, and Toronto, the tour will include festival performances at Rocklahoma and Louder Than Life, where Dickinson is set to captivate massive audiences. Notably, the tour also makes a quick detour to Brazil for a prestigious show at The Town festival in São Paulo.

Joining Dickinson on this tour is a revamped band lineup comprising seasoned musicians. The band includes Dave Moreno on drums, Mistheria on keyboards, Tanya O'Callaghan on bass, along with new additions Philip Näslund and Chris Declercq on guitars. Näslund is a multi-platinum-credited producer and Swedish guitarist noted for his dynamic playing style, while Swiss session guitarist Declercq is recognized for his work on Dickinson's single “Rain On The Graves.”

The tour's setlist is carefully crafted to include selections from The Mandrake Project as well as fan favorites like “Shadow of the Gods.” The choice of songs is intended to both showcase the album's creative breadth and pay homage to Dickinson's extensive solo career, which dates back to his departure from Iron Maiden in the 1990s. He briefly separated from the group to pursue his solo aspirations, producing a unique catalog that includes albums like Balls to Picasso and Tyranny of Souls.

Tickets for “The Mandrake Project Live 2025” North American tour are in high demand, with pre-sales beginning on March 6, 2025. Fans can access these through a mailing list or local pre-sales, marking their calendars for the general on-sale date, March 7, 2025, via major ticket outlets like Ticketmaster. With such anticipation building for the tour, it's expected that many dates will sell out quickly. As fans eagerly await the electrifying performances promised on the tour, Dickinson's blend of new music and cherished classics is sure to both thrill long-time followers and captivate new listeners, reaffirming his standing as one of the quintessential icons of heavy metal, with and without Iron Maiden.
