Speculation surrounding a potential Radiohead reunion tour has surged following recent activity by the band and its management. The iconic British rock band, known for its genre-defying sound and critically acclaimed albums, might be planning a highly anticipated return to the stage. Reports from various sources indicate that the band's management, under the name Blueyed Pictures, donated four tickets to a “Radiohead concert of your choice,” to a Los Angeles wildfire relief auction at Palisades High School. The auction, which closed yesterday, noted that the highest bidder would be able to select their preferred city and date based on Radiohead’s tour schedule, suggesting that live dates are on the horizon.

This news is further bolstered by information indicating that Radiohead has re-established activity under a new Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) named RHEUK25, filed in March. This move is not unprecedented for the band, as similar steps were taken in the past before album releases and tour announcements. The LLP, reportedly representing “Radiohead Europe and UK 2025,” adds weight to the expectation of forthcoming tour dates. All five members of Radiohead—Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, and Philip Selway—are listed as officers in this business entity, reinforcing the rumors of a significant band endeavor underway.

The rumors gain further credibility with reports of the band planning a series of residency gigs in select European cities this autumn. Additionally, the potential for an album reissue or new music shouldn't be discounted, as Radiohead recently revived a rare VHS video of a 1995 acoustic performance by Thom Yorke, marking the 30th anniversary of their album The Bends. This act, coupled with the release of a playlist containing B-sides and remixes from The Bends, hints at a possible celebration related to the album, whether in the form of live performances or new releases.

It is noteworthy that this potential tour would be Radiohead's first since 2018, when they concluded their “A Moon Shaped Pool” tour. Since then, the band members have remained active with personal projects, including Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood's involvement in The Smile, a band that has seen success with its debut album “A Light for Attracting Attention.” Additionally, the health of guitarist Jonny Greenwood has been a concern, as he recovered from a serious infection that led to the cancellation of The Smile's European tour dates last year. His wellness is likely a pivotal factor in any touring decisions.

The confirmation of Radiohead's live return is eagerly awaited by fans who have yearned for the band's innovative and transformative performances. With their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2019 serving as a testament to their impact on rock music, Radiohead's return to touring would undoubtedly be a significant event in the music world.

Importantly, the interest in Radiohead's potential tour has been amplified due to the strategic donation of four tickets, enticing fans with the opportunity to attend a “Radiohead concert of your choice.” This gesture from the band's management seems to unofficially confirm the buzz about an upcoming tour, making it a pivotal detail in the unfolding story of Radiohead's anticipated return to the stage. As the band's management continues to hint at live performances across various territories, the excitement among fans and music aficionados is palpable, with hopes that official details will soon be shared.
