Pantera, the iconic heavy metal band, has announced an extensive U.S. summer amphitheater tour slated for 2025, which will see them perform across 29 cities. This extensive tour promises to be a monumental event, being lauded as “The Heaviest Tour of the Summer.” In a thrilling collaboration, Swedish metal icons Amon Amarth will provide support throughout the tour, ensuring an electrifying experience for metal enthusiasts. While the lineup will remain largely unchanged with core Pantera members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante, other guest openers will be announced over time.

In reconvening for this tour, Pantera carries forward the legacy of its original members, drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott and guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, both of whom have unfortunately passed. Their absence is felt, yet members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown, alongside Wylde and Benante, are determined to continue the band's defining impact on heavy metal music. This move comes after their successful previous engagements which included performances alongside Metallica on their 2023-2024 M72 world tour and participation in Black Sabbath's final reunion show with Ozzy Osbourne.

Tickets and VIP presales are scheduled to begin on February 25, offering fans an early chance to secure their spots at this monumental event. For metalheads who have longed to see Pantera live or those who experienced the band during their peak, this tour provides a unique opportunity to see the music performed live again. There's a noted emotional undercurrent, with Brown reflecting on the tour as a venture continuing the band's rich legacy and introducing their legendary music to new audiences.
