The Soundside festival, a well-celebrated event in the musical calendar, will once again take place in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Scheduled for September 27 and 28, 2025, the festival marks its return to Seaside Park with a promise of unforgettable performances from an eclectic mix of artists across various genres. Established by C3 Presents, this festival has quickly gained popularity thanks to its deft blend of artists making waves in alternative, Americana, indie-rock, pop, and folk music. This year features a phenomenal lineup led by prominent performers such as The Killers and Hozier, who are known for their engaging live shows and mainstream success.

The first day of Soundside will spotlight The Killers as the headlining act, further validating the festival's reputation as a premier rock music event. Fans will also be treated to a performance by the endearing Weezer. Alongside them, the eclectic sounds of Joe Keery's DJO, edgy tunes from Japanese Breakfast, and performances from The Last Dinner Party, Inhaler, and others promise to set a high-energy vibe on the festival's opening day. Each act brings their unique flavor to the stage, ensuring audiences are treated to a diverse sonic experience.

On the second day, Hozier will lead the lineup, returning after a praised performance at Sound On Sound. His deeply soulful voice and thought-provoking lyrics are set to captivate the audience. Vampire Weekend will follow up with their critically acclaimed band, keeping the momentum high. The day will also feature electric performances by The Backseat Lovers and Remi Wolf, cementing the festival's reputation for mixing veteran talent with rising stars. The addition of acts like Chelsea Cutler and Alex Warren enhances the day’s appeal, promising a rich canvas of sounds and styles for attendees to enjoy.

Music festivals like Soundside have become hotspots for discovering new artists, and the 2025 lineup bolsters this trend. The presence of artists such as Rachel Chinouriri, Wild Rivers, Vundabar, and others not only adds depth and variety but also showcases the vast talent in the indie and alternative scene. As these acts share the stage with major headliners, they gain exposure and connect with new audiences, further enriching the festival atmosphere.

Such events are also crucial for the local economy, drawing visitors from across the country to Bridgeport and providing a significant economic boost to the area. The influx of tourists contributes to local businesses, bringing vibrancy and visibility to the community. Attendees are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly, with early access providing benefits like lower prices, ensuring that as many people as possible can join this cultural celebration.
